Rabbanit Rachelle Fraenkel, whose 16-year-old son Naftali was kidnapped and killed by terrorists in 2014, has been a symbol of faith across the Jewish world. As the 10th guest for 18 Questions, 40 Israeli Thinkers, Rachelle speaks as a women and religious figure immersed in the world of Jewish law, Jewish thought, and Jewish life.

She is a seasoned Jewish educator and currently works at Nishmat, while also speaking globally about Jewish Unity. Among the many notable items discussed were the problem of evil, the messianic potential of Israel, and what the Jewish People ought to do now.
