Ava Eden is currently in her first semester of GPATS (Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program in Advanced Talmud/Tanach Studies) while simultaneously finishing her undergraduate degree in English Literature and Judaic Studies at Stern College for Women. She is also a scholar of the Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought, though it took her two application seasons to get accepted. Before starting university, she studied Gemara, Halakha, Tanach, and Jewish Philosophy for two years in Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY). Ava has interned and published essays with both 18Forty and Tradition Online.
